- Eros was a wonderful boy-sweet, quiet and easy-going. Rats related to Eros and his sister, Persephone, are being watched for tumors. So far, out of many, many descendants, there have been two cases with a third pending more information from the rattery who bred it. The two cases we do know about are females who were placed in separate homes as pets in St. Louis. One appeared at 13 months (granddaughter of Eros, mother was SRR Shadow's Mystery) and the other at 17 months (Eros' daughter by MAR Bonnie). The third possible case was fathered by Eros, and the mother was bred at another rattery to produce this rat.
He retired and went to live with Heidi where he was spoiled and loved in his last months. Darling Eros, we will look for you at the Bridge.
